Fitness With Brittani

So lately I've been "training" a few of my co workers you could say, helping them with workouts and good food vs bad food etc. So here are my basics that I thought I'd share

1) Changing your diet or working out won't give you longterm results. You have to do both together!

2)Breakfast I usually mix a few choices (remember I'm trying to lose fat and tone as well). Either Crispix or Raisin B cereal, half cup of milk and protein shake, or half cup of egg whites with quaker oatmeal. Both are filling and it will bring you energy for your morning! Make sure you eat

3) Cut out whites. Im on whole wheat whole GRAIN, gotta have the GRAIN in it. WW/WG tortillas, bread etc. And brown rice, not white.

4) Drinks are easy, 8 bottles of water a day and green tea with lemon. No soda or sugar juices. Cutting that out alone with help you drop the weight and keep it off.

5)Biggest thing for me is my protein. I don't eat red meat, rarely, It's lean ground turkey or grilled chicken! Easiest thing i make, 4 oz ground turkey, whole wheat pasta noodles(any style), and either spagetti or alfredo sauce. Very filling, just make sure you watch your portions.

Other than those, The only other things I live by, thanks to my trainer, eat every3 hours, make sure your getting veggies and water in your day. Workouts I mix circuit training routines with cardio. One day I'll do a 30 minute floor workout then 1hr cardio, next day I'll do another circuit then 45 min cardio etc. Change it up :)

I'm very big on nutrition and fitness :) Any questions FB me or email me (email on fb page)

Dating 101

SOOO lately alot of my friends or people I know have been having relationship/dating issues! I mean who doesn't?! Seems like a daily event now days, so It got me thinking. What things should men/women know about the opposite sex that might help that 1st date or conversations go smoother? Now of COURSE this is MY opinion based from what I personally would like or things I have seen/heard, you may disagree or have more but here's a few things I came up with....

SO...

MEN:
-Women like you 2 suprise them! Now given some women don't like random surprises like showing up to their job etc. What I mean by suprise is doing what they don't expect you to, like call text them in the morning, letting them know they're on your mind or saying "have a good day", that starts us out with a huge smile, it was something you didn't have to do but gains you points!

-We appreciate honesty and doing what you say you will do more than you know! We all have a past and have known or been hurt by many men, leaving us to already be unsure if your trustworthy. The more you tell us, thee better. We appreciate little details or calls when you say you'll call, makes it easier for us to let our guard down.

-Asking us on a date is simple yet goes a long way! We may get hollered at , or approached for our number, but not many of us get a genuine "hey miss excuse me" followed by a genuine offer for a date.

-Women share stories so give us a good one to share! We can exchange several stories in a 5 minute car ride, so let your story have to "be continued", let it be something were dying to boast about. And if were sharing our date, it was either horrible or amazing, so let it be amazing right :)

-We love hearing compliments or seeing you notice thee little things, like if we change our perfume or do our hair or makeup different, a simple comment or gesture showing you noticed makes a HUGE difference, because not many men notice, We love that!!

WOMEN:
-As they said in "The Ugly Truth", you gotta be the stripper and thee librarian. Men are VISUAL, so visual that they mentally plan our outfits before we do. You gotta be able to be sexy and sweet, and other times relax in a t and watch the game with your boo! You don't have to be "on" all the time.

-Keep the conversation appropriate to the situation. If your man had a long hard day, without question, offer him a massage and to watch his favorite movie, dont tell him you want to "talk" or ask him when he's taking you out next. Cater to him, show him you understand how he feels.

-Food and sex are obviously on a mans mind more than anything else, or at least top 10 each day, so there's nothing wrong with suprising him with a dinner in something short or cute. The gesture will spring up more than just one feeling :)

-It isn't always about you, contrary to what some say. Communicate with your man/date, not my controls but questions, giving him space to express his needs, wants, questions, anything that may be on his mind. Just because he is a man, doesn't mean he doesn't have a say or opinion.

-Ask him out or give him a proposal of some sort! See if on the weekend he wants to go see a movie, or watch a game and you'll cook dinner! Compromise is key, and offering to show him a good time makes him smile, just like it would make you smile...

So im not trying to be a therapist but I think it's good to think about the basics, and see that little things could change alot!!!! Random post I know, but ya never know who you will meet tomarrow, and You never know what you could loose today so stay on top of your game!!! :)

So Let's Recap

So January is here, already over a week into it, what have I done so far:
-Started a new quarter a new school, Cal State school by thee way
-Signed with a promotion/magazine company
-Booked 3 people for me to personally shoot for my photography company
-Booked myself 2 modeling shoots with other photographers
-Opened up my new student credit account
-Got my 1st Check for January, including triple thee amount of normal commission
-Doubled my water dosage so I can stay on track with thee fitness

Now that's all I can recall for this moment but my point was simply this. EVERYTHING makes a difference, whether big or small, something tiny can always turn into something big so push yourself! Go big or go the hell home! Set goals for yourself and stick to them, for it is always possible! xoxo

L.O.V.E.

Have you ever been in love or wondered what it felt like?
Is it possible that love is blind or sneaks up on you?
Thats the beauty about feelings, we each feel and experience different things so honestly who knows. When we meet someone, most of us are just hoping that they are a ginuine person, but don't expect much due to what past experiences have shown us. But could it be that the one person to actaully capture your heart could be the one person who will actaully love and embrace it? It's hard these days to believe in "love" or imagine we will find it. I too have been a skeptic in the love department. Wondering if i'll ever find that rare occurance so many of us are seeking for or believe don't exist. I say everything happens for a reason. Puzzle pieces fall into place when they are meant to, they're not to be forced. So I say take your time and breathe for life is short. I too had to step back and evaluate my thoughts. Was i scared due to my past or scared of what was to come in the future? We all fear the unknown but it only takes ONE to make you believe in everything all at once... C.T. is my angel, who arrived so unexpectedly and makes my heart beat in a way I've never experienced. Thank you.... So I say to you, anything is possible and all you have to do is be ready and open for that one moment that can change your life....
